Historical Background: <br /> <br />On February 27, 1991, Ramsey Center Partnership applied for sketch plan review of River's Bend <br />3rd Addition. <br /> <br />On March 5, the Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the sketch plan and recommended <br />proceeding to preliminary plat. <br /> <br />On May 17, 1991, the City of Ramsey received a revised sketch plan for River's Bend 3rd <br />Addition, which was at that time proposed to be renamed to River's Bend West. <br /> <br />On June 4, 1991, the Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the revised sketch plan. <br /> <br />On July 22, 1991, the City of Ramsey received another revision to the sketch plan. The plat was <br />also changed back to River's Bend 3rd Addition. <br /> <br />On August 6, t991, the Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the revised sketch plan and <br />recommended proceeding to preliminary plat. <br /> <br />On September 9, 1991, the City of Ramsey received the developers proposal for preliminary plat <br />of River's Bend 3rd Addition. <br /> <br />On September 16, 1991, the Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing <br />re.garding the proposed preliminary plat for River's Bend 3rd Addition. The plat consisted of a <br />m~xture of single family, multi-family and commercial uses. The plat met with some opposition <br />from neighboring property owners and at the applicant's request, was withheld from further <br />processing. <br /> <br />On January 19, 1993, the City received a proposal for a revised preliminary plat that consisted of a <br />mixture of single family and commercial development; all multi-family development was eliminated <br />from the plan. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends preliminary plat approval contingent upon compliance with City Staff <br />review letter and submittal of grading and dra/nage plans. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Recommend that City Council approve/deny the proposed preliminary plat for River's <br />Bend 3rd Addition contingent upon compliance with the City Staff review letter dated <br />January 26, 1993, and submittal of a grading and drainage plan. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Engineer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Parks/Utilities Coordinator <br />Building Official <br />Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />P&Z: 2/2/93 <br /> <br /> <br />
