Standards. <br /> <br />With regard to setbacks, the consensus was to leave the setbacks the same and have the <br />Building Official clarify them. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner L',dDue to make the <br />following change in the B-2 Business District, Subd. 2, Permitted uses: i) "... <br />merchandise shall not exceed 20% of the gross floor area. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to direct City <br />Staff to schedule a public hearing for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 1993, regarding <br />proposed changes, as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission, to the Rural <br />Business, B-1 Business and B-2 Business District regulations <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Case #5: Project Status Report <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed their project status report. <br /> <br />Commissioner Holland inquired of the status of Danny's Aluminum Processing. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated she has written a letter to Mr. Karst and has not had a <br />response. A couple business owners showed up at the November 24, 1992 City Council <br />meeting and expressed their disgust with Danny's Aluminum Processing. At tl~at time, <br />Council directed Staff to begin the process to revoke Mr. Karst's CUP. She stated she <br />inspected Mr. Karst's operation today and will work on the inspection report. She will <br />then inform Mr. Karst of his violations via a letter, give him 30 days to address these <br />violations and if not done, a public heating will be scheduled in front of the City Council. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Holland to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
