Forward
to City Council.

With regard to Amber Ridge: The P&Z Commission voted
to recommend approval of the preliminary plat contingent
upon submittal of grading and drainage plans and
compliance with City Staff review letter dated February 23,
1993, except those lots adjacent to the wetlands be
approved as drawn as not achieving 10,800 sq. ft. of area
above the wetland because achieving 10,800 sq. ft. will
require significant redesign of the northwest corner of the
plat and also granting variance to the length of the dead end
street (Argon) south of 147th Lane. Forward to City
Council.

With regard to rezoning certain property in Amber Ridge
from B-2 Business and R-3 Urban Residential to R-1
Urban Residential: The P&Z Commission voted to
recommend adopting the Findings of Fact with 4/0 and #10
amended to the positive. The P&Z Commission also voted
to recommend approval of the request to rezone certain
property in the proposed plat of Amber Ridge to R-1
Urban Residential with the exception that what is proposed
to be platted as Outlot B for future development retain its
multi-family zoning. Forward to City Council.

With regard to Tom Austin's request to rezoning the
southern portion of his lots to R- 1 Rural Residential: The
P&Z Commission voted to deny request for rezoning.
Notify Tom Austin that request is denied and that particular
attention will be given to this area when City performs its
land use update.

With regard to City Code regulations for accessory
structures and exterior storage of unlicensed vehicles: The
P&Z Commission directed you to draft an ordinance
amendment, using Ben Deemer's suggestions that were
submitted in writing, that would eliminate the ability for
developers to include road right-of-way when platting,
provide a definition for parcel, reduce the threshold for
metal accessory structures from 2.5 acres to 2.0 acres,
provide for performance .zones and additional performance
standards for metal accessory structures. This ordinance
does not allow for the exterior storage of any unlicensed
vehicles.

C

C

P

P

P

I
I
I

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
