Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councitmember Zimmerman to table <br />this case until Council has a chance to further review the proposed amendments. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Councilmembers Beyer and Peterson. <br /> <br />Case #5: Amending Section 7.53.11 of the Off-Sale Liquor Ordinance <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson arrived. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbcrtson tumerl this portion of the meeting over to Councilmember Peterson. <br /> <br />Police Chief Auspos stated that this amendment deletes the requirement of 4,000 square <br />feet and new construction for off-sale liquor establishments. <br /> <br />Ralph Nissen, Ralph's Highway #10 Liquor, was present. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt <br />Ordinance g92-14 amending Section 7.53.11 of the Off-sale Liquor Ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman and Peterson. Voting <br />No: None. Abstain: Mayor Gilbertson. Absent: CouncilmemberBeyer. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson turned the meeting back over to Mayor Gilbertson. <br /> <br />Case #6: Corrective Documents regarding Chestnut Hill and Wood Pond <br /> Hills Developments <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />authorize preparation and recording, at City's expense, of the above documents and further <br />to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to execute the Quit Claim Deeds referenced <br />above from the City to Good Value Homes, Inc. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberBeyer. <br /> <br />Case #7: Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. Lawsuit Update <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that for this case there would be public portions and <br />clientJattomey portions so the case would be both open and closed. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. and the <br />City of Ramsey have been having discussions about royalty payments due to the City of <br />Ramsey. The purpose of tonight's case is to discuss the settlement offered by Waste <br />Management of Minnesota. <br /> <br />Both open and closed discussions ensued. <br /> <br />Consensus of the City Council was to approve the following terms of the agreement and <br />lawsuit subject to final written agreement which Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. will <br />draft for Council review: <br /> <br />1) Borrow plan - Waste Management will redo using only the east borrow area. <br /> <br />City Council/11/24/92 <br />Page 7 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
