Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Improvement Project #92-16 - Water Service Connection for <br />the Anna Boe Property: PIN 25-32-25-23-0004 <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that a public hearing on this improvement project was held <br />on December 8, 1992, however, proper legal notice of such hearing was not given. <br />Therefore, it is necessary to hold the hearing again. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson adjourned the regular City Council meeting at 8:29 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the following public hearing: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Improvement Project #92-15 - Water Service Connection for the Anna Boe <br />Property: PIN 25-32-25-23-0004. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilber~son called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 8:29 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski stated that the public hearing has now been held and there was no <br />opposition expressed during the public hearing. ~ <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Final Pay Estimate and Change Order No. 1 for Central Park <br />Parking Lot Paving ~'~ <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that in April !992, Council awarded a contract to Bauerly <br />Brothers for the paving of the Central Park parking lot. The bid was originally for placing <br />of the bituminous pavement only as it was anticipated the preliminary grading work would <br />be performed by the City's Public Works Department. At the time of the award, it was <br />noted that if the contractor also performed the grading work, it would eliminate <br />coordinating schedules and any dispute over responsibility for correcting pavement defects. <br />The project has been completed and a change order has been prepared to reflect $425.75 for <br />25 tons of bituminous beyond the 1,450 tons estimated and S2,720 for the time utilized for <br />grading. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #92-12-320 approving Change Order No. 1 and issuing final payment to <br />Bauerly Brothers, Inc. for Central Park parking lot. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer, <br />Hardin and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Community Service Award <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the Park and Recreation Commission had gained <br />approval from the City Council for a community service awards program.
