Block 1, <br />and outlet C, Rum River Hills, subject to the following <br />conditions: I) Demonstration that individual on-sit sewer <br />systems can be accommodated according to applicable <br />codes; 2) Demonstration that adjacent easement-area lands <br />have sufficient available suitable soils to accommodate <br />back-up drainfield areas for the 12 units; 3) Receipt of <br />mended comments from Metropolitan Council Staff; 4) <br />Further review by legal counsel of the precedent which <br />would be set by approval of this project; 5) Water supply <br />system to be approved by appropriate agencies; 6) The <br />party.wall between units are to be constructed of fire-proof <br />material; 7) City staff receiving assurances from <br />Metropolitan Council that approval of the project will not <br />endanger the possibility of any future MUSA expansions <br />within the City. Forward to City Council. <br /> <br />With regard to proposed ordinances amending regulations <br />for accessory buildings, accessory uses and definitions: <br />There's a typo in the fifth row of the second table <br />for. Subd. 12., and it should read "108,900 to 152,459 <br />sq. ft." Also amend Subd. 13, item (a) to read "On parcels <br />of land less than 100,000 sq. ft. in size, ... Amend <br />Subd. I3, item (b) to read "On parcels of land 100,001 <br />sq. ft. in size and greater, all detached accessory buildings <br />shall have a design and exterior facing finish which is <br />compatible with that of the principal structure as <br />determined by the building inspector. Galvanized finishes <br />shall not be permitted. Any of this type that are <br />constructed within 75 feet of any property lines shall <br />include design features such as soffit, facia, and cave <br />overhang." (Note that the la. st part of the sentence was <br />deleted.) With regard to Subd. 2, the P&Z Commission <br />directed you to word it so that one unlicensed car would be <br />allowed, and if City Council could not pass it, they <br />recommended City Council hold a pubhc hearing to hear <br />the outcry that the Commission listened to. The P&Z <br />Commission voted to schedule a public hearing on the <br />ordinances as amended. <br /> <br />The P&Z Commission voted to recommend that City <br />Council introduce Ordinance g03-~ to establish a <br />procedure for moving stmcuu~s into and within the City of <br />Rarnsey.
