Subd. 14. Construction of any single accessory building larger than 2,300 sq. fl, in size in a single family residential zone shall require written verification at the time of building permit application that there is no intent on the part of the property owner and/or building permit applicant to conduct commercial activities in said structure. SECTION 2. ORDINANCE SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION The following is the official summary of Ordinance #93-. , which has been approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance: Section 9.02 Definitions, Accessory Building has been modified to clarify that attached and detached garages are considered accessory buildings. That the attached garage, or that in the absence thereof, the initial detached garage, are considered primary accessory buildings. Lot, minimum area of, has been amended to exclude road right-of-way in determining lot area in the rural residential district. A definition for Personal Services has been added. Section 9.11.02 has been amended to reduce the lot size threshold for metal accessory buildings from 2.5 to approximately 2.3 acres. Additionally, any metal buildings constructed within 75 feet of any property line would be required to be designed with soffit, facia and eave overhang. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE The effective date of this Ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and publication, subject to City Charter Section 5.07.
