Subd. 14. Construction of any single accessory building larger than 2,300 sq. ft. <br />in size in a single family residential zone shall require written verification at the time of building <br />permit application that there is no intent on the pan of the property owner and/or building permit <br />applicant to conduct commercial activities in said structure. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION <br /> <br />The following is the official summary of Ordinance g03- , which has been approved by the City <br />Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the <br />ordinance: <br /> <br />Section 9.02 Definitions, Accessory Building has been modified to clarify that attached and <br />detached garages are considered accessory buildings. That the attached garage, or that in the <br />absence thereof, the initial detached garage, are considered primary accessory buildings. <br /> <br />Lot, minimum area of, has been amended to exclude road right-of-way in determining lot area in <br />the rural residential district. <br /> <br />A definition for Personal Services has been added. <br /> <br />Section 9.11.02 has been amended to reduce the lot size threshold for metal accessory buildings <br />from 2.5 to approximately 2.3 acres.
