CASE # I <br /> <br /> REQUEST FOR SITE PLAN REVIEW; <br />CASE OF MIKE'S WOODWORKING, MIKE SJOQUIST <br />By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mike Sjoquist is requesting a site .plan review to construct a 484 square foot expansion to the <br />warehouse facility which is an accessory structure to his cabinet making shop. As you may recall, <br />Mike Sjoquist developed his home and cabinet shop in the Pineview Estates 2nd Addition Planned <br />Unit Development (PUD) for which a mixture of residential and commercial uses is permitted. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br />d) <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Site plan <br />Building plan <br />City Staff Review Letter dated August 25, 1993 <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />In September of 1991, Mike constructed his home and a 1600 square foot cabinet shop on Lot 4, <br />Block 1, Pineview Estates 2nd Addition. <br /> <br />In December of 1991, the City granted Mike an amendment to his site plan to construct a 484 <br />square foot warehouse for storing materials and supplies. <br /> <br />On August 12, 1993, Mike applied for a site plan review to construct a 484 square foot expansion <br />to the warehouse facility. <br /> <br />The proposed expansion is in compliance with City Code as it pertains to lot coverage, architectural <br />standards and setbacks. <br /> <br />No additional landscaping, off-street parking or site improvements are required as a result of the <br />expansion. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends site plan approval. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Recommend that City Council grant site plan' approval to Mike's Woodworking for an <br />expansion to the warehouse facility. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Engineer <br /> <br />P&Z: <br /> <br />9/7/93 <br /> <br /> <br />
