I I I I I I I I Sentember 7, lP93 Ms. Sylvia Frolik City of Ramsey 15153 NW Nowthen Blvd. Ramsey, Mn. 55303 Attention: Ptannin~ and Zoninq Commission Dear Ms. Frolik: I am writing to address the issue of a horse shelter and accessory structure located adiacent to my nropertv at 15811Dkani Street. My understanding is that the Olson's are apolyin~ for a conditional use permit. My position on this matter is as follows. Ideally, I would have ~referred that they secure the ~ermit and ~ollow the code exactly as it is written prior to buildinq both of these structures. This does not appear to have been the case. They have, however, .lust recently invested a qreat deal of time and money into buildinq these structures and since they are located directly next to my ,rooerty, I would request that the committee consider the followinq be done to minimize their intrusions. One, the manure was left for an entire year without removal. Although they have made some effort to chanQe the fence line, I would request that a removal-system be established and followed. Two, the accessory structure has been unfinished ~or some time, but they have, this past two weeks, been workin~ to comolete it. I am assuming that siding and painting will be com,lete soon. Lastly, I sugaested to them that they plant some auick-qrowinQ trees alonq the property line, Darticularly since it does not meet the 75' guide- line (the horse shelter). I have iust ,lanted 9 10' Doolars alonq my border. In conclusion, I would like to ooint out that I am the prooerty owner most affected by this situation as oooosed to other outer-lMing neighbors.
