Wages only are as follows: <br /> 1992 1993 <br />AFSCME (for approval) 4.28% 3.82% <br />Exempt (for discussion for 1993) 4.45% 3.91% <br />LELS (for discussion for 1993) 4.55% 3.70% <br /> <br />For LELS the above includes the ratified 1992 contract and the 1993 contract if we used the 3.7% <br />table as is proposed for AFSCME and Exempt. This would be a radical departure from the format <br />used to negotiate metro area police contracts (but them AFSCME has not seen this format prior to <br />t992). Without use of the 3.7% table, the LELS contract would undoubtedly experience a <br />different cost.
