Case <br /> <br />WORKERS' COMPENSATION, PROPERTY/CASUALTY INSURANCE <br /> By: Sandra Ashley Helling, Finance Officer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />We are awaiting a quotation from the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust for the City of <br />Ramsey's 1993 Property/Casualty Insurance. The League has extended coverage for cities with <br />quotations pending to assure no lapse occurs. It is expected we will have this quotation by tonight's <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />The quotation from the League on Workers' Compensation was received; however, Staff requested <br />supporting information/justification due to a significant change in Ramsey's "mod" or experience rating. <br />Tt~is information was received and reviewed with Berkley, the administrator of the League of Minnesota <br />Cities Worker's Compensation plan. The review resulted in a decrease in Ramsey's "mod" from 1.07 to <br />1.00 resulting in a premium reduction of approximately $4,000.00.
