Rise serves individuals from a wide qeoq~ap~ic <br />area in ~he met~oolitan area. <br /> <br />2. project Activities: Rise provides emplo~~en~ <br />opportunities for individuals livina in Anoka. Hennepin, and Ramsev <br />counties who have severe disabilities. Most of the people in Rise'S <br />lob trainina and emploYment proarams do not drive and therefore, <br />depend on public transportation. Metro Mobilitv, the Anoka <br />Traveler. car pools. or Rise transportation. Rise vans are the last <br />option considered for those who cannot access anv othe~ resource. <br />Fourteen vans are used dailv ~o t~ansport ove~ 200 people. Two vans <br />have ove:- 1.60.000 miles on 'tohem and need 'too be replaced.
