<br />CASE #: 7 <br /> <br />1993 RAMSEY CLEAl\-lJP DAY <br />B~': James GromDerg, Project Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City Staff is currently plannmg the 1993 Ramsey Ciean-up Day Activines. ThI~ year~ <br />activities are planned to be somewhat expanded as this is the final year for the tr.iditional Ramse: <br />Clean-up Da~'. The general program will be as follows: <br /> <br />1) Each resident is allowed to take one covered load to the Anoka Regional Sanitary <br />Landfill. <br /> <br />21 Residents will be charged a fee for each tire. <br /> <br />:; I Residents will be charged a fee for each appliance. <br /> <br />The fees for these materials has not yet been set as I will be meeting with the landfill personnel in <br />the near future to figure out prices. The City will also be seeking to allow residents additional <br />loads at a reduced price to allow for the maxImum amount of clean-up this year. <br /> <br />1993 Clean-up Day has been tentatively scheduled for May 8. 1993. Volunteers will be available <br />to issue Clean-up Day permits, free. at City Hall during the Environmental EXPO which is <br />proposed to be held on Saturday May 1. 1993. Permits would also be available after 5:00 p.rr:. <br />until l:.;:OO p.m. the Friday before Clean-up Day, Permits wil1 be sold on Clean-up Day for 2 price <br />to be determined. <br /> <br /> <br />The City will provide rOT roadside clean-uD by 10:a] community service giOupS (":-H Clubs. Bay <br />Scouts.
