<br />Subd. 6. Subdi\'ider may perform work. election. The awner or
<br />subdivider may elect to construct the improvements required by this Section at his own
<br />expense and without City panicipauon m the expense thereof. In such event. rhe awner or
<br />SUbdivider may retain an engmeer and contractor to plan. design and install such services.

<br />Subd. i. Performance contract. Prior to the installation of an\'
<br />required improvements by a subdivider and prior to Council approval of the final plar. rhe
<br />subdivider shall enter into :.J contract with rhe City, which contract shall require the
<br />sLJbdivider to construct s:.lid improvements at rhe sole expense of rhe subdivider and in
<br />accordance with Cny approved constructions plans and specifications and all applicable
<br />Cif\' standards and ordin:mces. Said contract shall provide fm the supervision of the
<br />cOllsrruction by the City Engineer and shall require that rhe City be reimbursed for all COSts
<br />IJ1curred h~ the Cjt~' for en~ineerinf :md legal fees and other expenses in connecrion with
<br />the makin~ 0:' ;;LJ;:h impTCwemenb. The performance of said contract snJll be financiall\'
