CASE <br /> <br />INTRODUCE ORDINANCE TO REPEAL THE RURAL BUSINESS DISTRICT <br />AND REZONE RURAL BUSINESS PROPERTIES TO B-1 BUSINESS <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Syh, ia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you know, recent amendments to the B-1 Business District included merging the Rural <br />Business into it. Accordingly, all Rural Business properties should be rezoned to B-I Business <br />and the City Code and Zoning Map should be amended to delete references to the Rural Business <br />District. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Enclosed for your review is a proposed ordinance to rezone Rural Business properties to B-1 <br />Business and amend the City Code and City Zoning Map to delete references to Rural Business. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff and the Planning and Zoning Commission recommend introduction of the ordinances. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Introduce Ordinance #93-X to rezone Rural Business properties to B-1 Business and to <br />eliminate the definition of Rural Business and the Rural Business District from City Code <br />and City Zoning Map. <br /> <br />Review Chec~ist: <br /> <br />CC: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />3/9/93 <br /> <br /> <br />
