CASE <br /> <br />ADOPT ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING DISTRICT BOUNDARIES IN <br />THE PLAT OF RIVENWlCK; CASE OF FAYE CONSTRUCTION <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On February 23, 1993, City Council adopted Resolution #93-02-024 adopting Findings of Fact <br />#0330 and introduced an ordinance to amend the commercial and residential zoning district <br />boundaries to coincide with how the property in Rivenwick was finally platted. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />As you may recall, the applicant requested that all of the commercial property be zoned B-3 <br />Highway Business. The Planning and Zoning Commission and City Staff recommended that a <br />strip of B-1 Business be retained to buffer the B-3 from the residential portion of the plat. The <br />Council followed the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Staff. <br /> <br />B.B. Chapman, representing Faye Construction, will be present at the meeting to present his case <br />for zoning all of the commercial property B-3 Highway Business.
