CASE # <br /> <br /> ' TOBACCO FREE PARKS <br />By: Leonard Linton, Civil Engineer II <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City received the attached information on making the parks tobacco free. <br />Implementation of this policy will require a new ordinance, draft ordinance language is <br />included. Tobacco waste requires a lot of clean up and eliminating this waste in our <br />parks would make them look better and free staffto work on other parts of the parks. <br />Enforcement of this policy will require support of the Ramsey Youth Athletic <br />Association (RYAA) and other groups that hold regularly scheduled events in the parks. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Commission is asked to make a motion recommending/rejecting this proposal.
