Councilmcmber RESOLUTION EQUIPMENT introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~93-04- AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISING FOR BIDS FOR A TRUCK FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT AND WHEREAS, at the Council's Finance Committee meeting of March 23, 1993, Staff presented a request to advertise for bids for the purchase of a new one-ton 4 x 4 cab and chassis and also a dump body with hoist and hydra-turn plow for the Public Works Department; and WHEREAS, this capital purchase would replace the City's current vehicle #609, a 1982 Chevrolet K- 30, one-ton 4 x z[ and dump body with host and hydra-turn plow; and WItEREAS, this vehicle replacement was anticipated in the City's 1993 General Fund Budget; and WHEREAS, the new equipment specifications were presented and are attached to this resolution; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee approved this recommendation and hereby recommends the Ramsey City Council authorize the advertising for bids. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the advertising for bids for a new one-ton 4x4 cab and chassis and also a dump body with hoist and hydra-turn plow for the Public Works Department. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 13th day of April, 1993.
