Councilmember adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION #92-05- RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF THE RAMSEY LIONS CLUB FOR A TEMPORARY OFF-SALE NON-INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR LICENSE AND ONE DAY OFF-SITE LAWFUL GAMBLING PERMIT WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club will be holding their 7th Annual Ramsey Community Picnic on Saturday, June 5, 1993 at Central Park; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club has made application for a temporary off-sale non- intoxicating malt liquor license for this event; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club has also applied for a one day off-site lawful gambling permit to conduct bingo, raffles,pull-tabs and tipboards at this event. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request of the Ramsey Lions Club for a temporary off-sale non-intoxicating malt liquor license and one day off-site lawful gambling permit for the 7th Annual Ramsey Community Picnic on Saturday, June 5, 1993 at Central Park and hereby waives the license fee. 2) That the Ramsey City Council authorizes the City Administrator to sign the lease and any other documents that may be required by the Minnesota Gambling Board. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the llth day of May, 1993.
