STAFF UPDATES <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman reported Natalie Steffen of the Met Council has suggested a meeting <br />for Monday, April 5t~' with staff from the Environmental Division regarding sewer pipes to the <br />north. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Council was to schedule the meeting for Monday, April sth at $ :30 p.m. <br />City Administrator Norman indicated an alternate is needed for the City Hall Facility Committee. <br />Councihnember Elvig was appointed as the alternate to the City Hail Facility Committee. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec directed staff to forward information to the Park Board regarding Youth First's <br />attempts to adopt a "No Smoking in City Parks Policy." <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec reported other cities in the area are considering pay increases' for councils and <br />mayors. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Council was to forward this item to personnel. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec indicated he will gather information regarding what the other cities are doing with <br />this issue. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />The City Council Work Session of the City Council adjourned at 8:06 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Carol Hamer <br />Rccording Secretary <br />TimeSaver Off Site Secretarial, inc. <br /> <br />James E.
