CASE #: (~ <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH <br />METROPOLITIAN COUNCIL FOR STUDY OF <br /> THE CENTRAL RURAL RESERVE AREA. <br />By: Patrick Trudgeon, AICP, Assistant Communit~ Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey was recently awarded $33,000.00 from the Metropolitan Council for a.study of <br />the Central Rural Reserve Area in Ramsey as referenced in the City's Comprehensive Plan. As <br />Council may recall, there was concern brought up at the February 24, 2004 meeting that there was a <br />conflict with the work plan and the grant agreement regarding the use of funds for public <br />participation and design workshops. The CoUncil'delayed entering into the grant agreement until the <br />issue was clarified by Metropolitan Council.
