CASE <br /> <br />By: <br /> <br /> REQUEST FOR VACATION OF ACCESS EASEMENT <br /> WITHIN THE TOWN CENTER GARDENS SUBDIVISION; <br /> CASE OF BRIGHTKEYS DEVELOPMENT CORP. <br />Patrick Trudgeon, AICP Assistant Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey has an access easement parallel to Bunker Lake Blvd. (CR 116) to access <br />City Pumphouse #2. Currently the City-utilizes Bunker Lake Blvd. to access the pumphouse. <br />As part of the Town Center Gardens Development and in anticipation of improvements of <br />Bunker Lake Blvd., a new access will be constructed from a public road interior to the <br />development and the existing access on Bunker Lake Blvd. will be closed. With the creation of <br />the new access, the existing easement is no longer necessary. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) Exhibit of underlying easements to be vacated <br />b) Proposed access from Town Center Gardens subdivision <br />c) Proposed ordinance <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff would like to hold a public hearing at the April 27, 2004 City Council meeting in order to <br />properly vacate the City easement. In the meantime, Staff would request that the Council <br />introduce the ordinance. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance #04- to vacate the easement for <br />Pumphouse # 2 and order a public hearing on the proposed vacation. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Asst.
