Acceptable plantings shall be determined by the City <br />planting schedule. The compliment of trees fulfilling the landscaping <br />requirements shall not be less than 25% deciduous and not less than 25% <br />coniferous. <br /> <br />Grading. Final slope grades shall not exceed 3.5:1 unless terracing of <br />retaining walls are approved. Berming for parking lots and open space areas <br />shall not exceed a slope of3:l. <br /> <br />Required Ground Cover. Lawns are required for all residential <br />developments and shall be installed with either sod, seed, natural ground <br />cover, or native grasses and wild flowers in the R-1 Residential District <br />within one (1) year of the date the certificate of occupancy for the principal <br />building was issued. Noxious weeds do not constitute allowed ground cover <br />in any district. <br /> <br /> <br />
