Councihnember Zimmerman noted this is a good example of using the Drainage Utility Fund to <br />do specific projects like this, which would make the sealcoating project very expensive. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Pearson, Cook, Elvig, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed at 8:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 8:10 p.m. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski indicated the Council will be asked to authorize the projects in 60 days. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Public Hearing and Request for Vacation of Drainage and Utility Easements <br />for Highlands at River Park; Case of Arcon Development Inc. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the meeting at 8:t0 p.m. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 8:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon noted the City Council recently approved <br />the final plat of Highlands at River Park 4th Addition. As part of that plat, Lot 14, Block 4 of the <br />Highlands at River Park was subdivided and incorporated into the new plat. New easements for <br />the lot were created as part of the 4th Addition and the existing easements contained in the <br />original lot need to be vacated. He explained this public hearing is required to introduce an <br />ordinance to vacate the existing easements. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />City Council/March 9, 2004 <br /> Page 10 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
