Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #93-05- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY <br />STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g93-11 (BITUMINOUS SURFACING <br />FOR HEDGEHOG STREET N.W. BETWEEN 151ST LANE N.W. AND 153RD <br />AVENUE N.W.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement of bituminous surfacing for Hedgehog Street N.W. between 151st Lane N.W. and <br />153rd Avenue N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charier and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br />bituminous surfacing for Hedgehog Street N.W. between 151st Lane N.W. and 153rd <br />Avenue N.W. has been filed with the City Council on May 25, 1993. The petition is <br />hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This <br />declaration is made in conformity to Ramsey City Charter and Minnesota Statute Chapter <br />429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed <br />to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also <br />comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some <br />other improvement. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project g'93- <br />I1. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 25th day of May, 1993. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
