CASE <br /> <br />ADOPT ORDINANCE VACATING THE SECTION OF 162ND LANE N.W. <br />BETWEEN DYSPROSIUM STREET N.W. AND GERMANIUM STREET N.W. <br />IN BARTHELS RUM RIVER ACRES 2ND ADDITION <br /> By: James Gromberg, Project Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />In 1982, the City entered into an amended development agreement with the developers of Barthels <br />Rum River Acres 2nd Addition. Under this amended agreement, the City agreed to vacate the <br />section of 162nd Lane N.W. between Dysprosium Street N.W. and Germanium Street N.W. In <br />reviewing City records, the City has not yet vacated this section of street. <br /> <br />If this proposed ordinance is adopted, the City will request that Anoka County change the City map <br />to reflect the vacation. The City will also provide a certified copy of the ordinance to the property <br />owners who are affected by the vacation. <br /> <br />A public hearing was held on Tuesday, May 25, 1993 at the City Council meeting. There was no <br />public opposition stated, therefore, Council voted to introduce the ordinance.
