PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a special meeting on Monday, June 7, <br />1993 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairp~son David Bawden <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Terry Hendriksen <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Bradley Thomd <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden called the special Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to order at 6:31 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner La.Due and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to approve the <br />agenda w/th the following amendments: <br /> <br />1) Add Case #3: Discussion Regarding Changing the Side Yard Setback Ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion carrie& Voting Yes: ChaLrperson Bawden, Commissioners LaDue, Hendriksen, Deemer, <br />HoLland and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Thorud. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Request for a Conditional Use Permit; case of Danny's Tranny's, <br /> Inc. (Dan Karst, Jr.) <br /> <br />Commissioner Hendrik.~en stated that he had the opportunity to inspect thc applicant's property at <br />6:00 p.m_ on Jane 3, 1993. At that rime, he found a large trailer parked in the driveway containing <br />material, a large tractor trailer parked in the street, and a front end loader was in the process of <br />loading a semi in the street, lie stated that when he spoke with Mr. I<arst, Mr. Karst had the scm/ <br />dr/ver move inside the fence area for the remainder of loading although Mr. Karst didn't think the <br />semi was in the street. Commissioner liendriksen noted the license plate of the semi was from <br />Wisconsin, #282 460. Commissioner I--Iendriksen also noticed approximately a lffxl0' square of <br />material outside the fence, and the fence was in disrepair in numerous places.
