Case# ]~ <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 AND FINAL PAYMENT TO RICHARD KNUTSON <br />FOR PROJECT g91-01, HIGHWAY #I0 SEWER AND WATER EXTENSION <br />By: Steven J. Jankowski, Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Project ggl-01 was constructed last summer and the final punch list items were completed this <br />spring. The contractor is entitled to his retainage which was witt-daeld pending project completion, <br />and in addition is entitled to compensation for additional work itemized in the attached Change <br />Order No. 2. The retainage for the project is $7,735.18 and the change order is $6,420.04. A <br />description of each of the four change order items is presented within the change order along with <br />justification for the contract cost adjustment. The additional costs contained in Change Order No. <br />2 were anticipated last fall at the time assessments for the project were calculated. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />It is my opinion that the costs contained in Change Order No. 2 and Final Pay Estimate No. 3 <br />represent fair compensation to the contractor for work performed.
