Wall Signs <br />Wall signs are permitted within all COR sub -districts. <br />Building identity signage <br />highlighted by architectural <br />elements (cornice) <br />— Tenant signs incorporated <br />into building "sign band" <br />above the awning <br />Wall signs shall be permitted on one (1) wall, except that lots with frontage on more than one (1) street <br />may have signage on one (1) wall per street frontage. <br />Within the COR1, COR3, COR4 and COR5 districts, the following standards apply: <br />A. Wall -mounted or painted signs, provided the following standards are met: <br />1. The sign shall be affixed to the front facade of the building, and shall project outward <br />from the wall to which it is attached no more than six inches (6"). <br />2. Single Tenant Buildings. Each building shall be allowed one (1) wall sign per street <br />frontage. Signage must be located on the street elevation. The area of the sign shall <br />not exceed five (5%) percent of the ground floor building facade area or fifty (50) square <br />feet, whichever is less. <br />3. Multi -Tenant Buildings. <br />a. Each building shall be allowed wall signage on the street frontage elevation. For <br />buildings with multiple street frontages, the allowable signage is per street frontage. <br />Signage must be located on the street elevation. <br />b. Each building is allowed wall signage that shall not exceed 5% of the wall area of the <br />building facade adjacent to the street or 50 square feet, whichever is less. <br />c. Tenant signage must be located on the tenant lease space. <br />d. At least fifty (50%) percent of the allowed signage must be allocated to ground floor <br />tenants and located on the ground floor. <br />e. Signage is limited to a maximum of one (1) sign per business/tenant, except that <br />tenants with frontage on multiple streets may be permitted to have signage on each <br />street frontage. <br />f. Multi -tenant buildings must have wall signs of similar design.
