I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />!I <br /> <br /> I <br /> <br />Co <br /> <br />The initial accessory building consu-ucted on a parcel that is serviced by <br />sanitary sewer and municipal water shall be attached to the principal <br />structure. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />.OIIDINANCE SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION <br /> <br />The following is the official summary of Ordinance #93- , which has been approved by the City <br />Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the <br />ordinance: <br /> <br />Section 9.02 Definitions, Accessory Building has been modified to clarify that attached and <br />detached garages are considered accessory buildings. That the attached garage, or that in the <br />absence thereof, the initial detached garage, are considered primary accessory buildings. <br /> <br />Lot, minimum area of, has been amended to exclude road right-of-way in determining lot area in <br />the rural residential district. <br /> <br />A definition for Personal Services and Vehicle has been added. <br /> <br />Section 9.11.02 has been amended to establish a minimum lot size for metal accessory <br />structures of 217,800 square feet or 100,001 square feet for lots of record existing as of July 1, <br />1993. Additionally, any metal buildings constructed within 75 feet of any property line would be <br />required to be designed with soffit, facia and eave overhang. The storage of any unlicensed <br />vehicles shall be prohibited. The showing for sale of more than one vehicle on a property not <br />zoned for vehicles sales is prohibited. A performance standard was added to require that the initial <br />garage constructed on a property served by city sewer and water be attached to the dwelling.
