I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g93-09- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING <br />SERVICES AND APPRAISAL SERVICES FOR 153RD AVENUE <br />N.W.BETWEEN VARIOLITE STREET N.W. AND ARMSTRONG BLVD. N.W. <br />(COUNTY ROAD #83) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City Council has directed staff to continue with the preparation of plans <br />and specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has receiv&l proposals for the appraisal services for right-of-way <br />acquisition and preliminary engineering work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has issued a negative declaration for an EIS for the EAW <br />prepared for the extension of 153rd Avenue N.W. between Variolite Street N.W. and Armstrong <br />Blvd. N.W. (County Road #83); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the costs associated with the appraisals and preliminary engineering work <br />are eligible for reimbursement with MSA Funds. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />agreement with RLK Associates LTD. for preliminary engineering work in the name of the <br />City of Ramsey for the 153rd Avenue N.W. between Variolite Street N.W. and Armstrong <br />Blvd. N.W. (County Road #83). <br /> <br />That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />agreement with Herman Appraisal Services for appraisal services in the name of the City of <br />Ramsey for the 153rd Avenue N.W. between Variolite Street N.W. and Armstrong Blvd. <br />N.W.
