The City recycled over 773 tons of material and effectively managed over
19 tons of problem materials.

The award commending this achievement has been hung in the City Council Chambers along with
the awards from previous years. The City Council should be proud of its efforts and the efforts of
its residents in making the City's landfill abatement activities the success they have been.

The City's goal for 1993 is 894 tons of material. If the City continues at its current pace, it should
achieve this goal and receive another award in 1994. These programs will continue to be a success
as long as you continue your strong support of landfill abatement activities.

It
