I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br />,! <br /> ! <br /> ! <br /> ! <br /> ! <br /> <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br /> <br />CASE # <br /> <br />APPROVE REQUEST FROM GLEN REHBEIN EXCAVATING, INC, <br />FOR AN ON-SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR WITH <br /> SUNDAY SALES LICENSE <br /> By: Michael Auspos, Police Chief <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Glen Rehbein Excavating, Inc. has applied for an On-sale Intoxicating Liquor License for <br />the golf clubhouse building at 9333 - 153rd Avenue N.W. Currently this same type of <br />license is in effect for those premises in the name of Great Scot Golf Inc. That license is in <br />effect until July 1, 1994. <br /> <br />All items in the application have been investigated and found to be proper. A public <br />hearing was held on August 24, 1993, with no public input presented. <br /> <br />The only contingency attached to this case is that the license will not be in effect until we <br />have received an insurance certificate of liquor liability coverage showing dates of <br />coverage, which will be at least from date of Council approval through June 30, 1994. <br />Presently the applicant has included a binder of insurance, however, the State requires that <br />the actual proof of insurance include the dates of coverage. <br /> <br />The fee for this license has been paid in its entirety, $4,200.00 as per City Code <br />requirement upon application. If the license is approved at this meeting, we will have to <br />figure out a pro-rated fee for the time remaining until June 30, 1994 and refund the balance. <br />We will also have to refund Great Scot, Inc. on a pro-rated basis for the same time period. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to approve/disapprove the request from Glen Rehbein Excavating, Inc. for an On- <br />sale Intoxicating Liquor with Sunday Sales License. <br /> <br />Motion to direct the Finance Officer to figure out a pro-rated fee for the time remaining until <br />June 30, 1994 and refund Glen Rehbein Excavating, Inc. accordingly. <br /> <br />Motion to direct the Finance Officer to figure out the refund to Great Scot, Inc. on a pro- <br />rated basis and issue refund. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: Copies also distributed to: <br /> <br />PoLice Chief <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />CC: 09/14/93 <br /> <br /> <br />
