I I I I I I I I I I I I I I i I I I CotmcLLmem~r introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g93-09- RESOLUTION APPROVING RAMSEY P.T.A. APPLICATION PERMITS FOR CHARITABLE GAMBLING (RAFFLE) ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FOR PREMISE AT RAMSEY WHEREAS, the Ramsey P.T.A. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at Ramsey elementary School, 15000 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey P.T.A...would be Considered to operate within the trade area per the City's Gambling Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the application is to conduct a raffle; and WHEREAS, the permit is temporary and the raffle drawing is scheduled for Saturday, November 13, 1993; and WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming requires the City of' Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the temporary premises permit application request for the Ramsey P.T.A. to conduct a raffle at the Ramsey Elementary School., 15000 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey. 2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes..the City Administrator to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of September, 1993.
