I I I I I I I i I I I I I I I I I I I CASE REQUEST FOR SITE PLAN REVIEW; CASE OF MIKE'S WOODWORKING, MIKE SJOQUIST By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik Background: Mike Sjoquist is requesting a site plan review to consn-uct a 484 square foot expansion to the storage building which is an accessory structure to his cabinet making shop. As you may recall, Mike Sjoquist developed his home and cabinet shop in the Pmeview Estates 2nd Addition Planned Unit Development (PUD) for which a mix/ute of residential and commercial uses is permitted. The following items are enclosed for your information: a) b) c) e) Site location map Site plan Building plan City Staff Review Letter dated August 25, 1993 Proposed development permit Observations: In September of 1991, Mike constructed his home and a 1600 square foot cabinet shop on Lot 4, Block 1, Pineview Estates 2nd Addition. In December of 1991, the City granted Mike an amendment to his site plan to construct a 484 square foot storage building for storing m~teriEs and supplies. On August 12, 1993, Mike applied for a site plan review to'~onsu-uct a 484 square foot expansion to the warehouse facility. The proposed expansion is in compliance w/th City Code as h pertains to lot coverage, architecturE standards and setbacks. No additional landscaping, off-street parking or site improvements are required as a result of the expansion. Recommendation: The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the site plan on September 7 and recommended approve of same. City Staff also recommends site plan approvE. Council Action: Grant site plan approve to Mike's Woodworking for an expansion to the storage facility on Lot 4, Block 1, Pineview Estates 2nd Addition P.U.D..
