I I I I I I SECTION 130.1211 DENIAL, SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION OF LICENSE Any license under this Chapter may be denied, suspended, or revoked for any of thc following reasons: (a) The use conflicts with the Ramsey Zoning Code; (b) The use conflicts with any health, building, building maintenance or provisions of ovf-- -~a~L~:t~f~ordinanee or state law; (c) (d) (e) (f) The applicant has failed to comply with one or more provisions of this Chapter;, Fraud, misrepresentation, or bribery in securing a license; Fraud, misrepresentation or false statements marie in the course of the applicant's business; Violation, within the preceding five years, of any law relating to theft, damage or trespass to property, sale of a controlled substance, or operation of business. SECTION 2. PENALTY. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than Seven Hundred Dollars ($700.00) or imprisonment for not more than Ninety (90) days or both. I I SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and thirty (30) days after its publication according to law, subject to City Charter Provision, Section 5.04. SECTION 4. ORDINANCE PUBLICATION SUMMARY. I I I The following official summary of Ordinance #90-15 has been approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of safid Ordinance, to w/t: tt is the intent and effect of Ordinance ~90-15 to require licenses for pawnbrokers and secondhand goods dealers, both of which are defined in the ordinance. The Ordinance further provides for a nonrefundable investigation fee and annual license fee. The Ordinance further provides for an application procedure, requires each licensee to keep and maintain certakn records and requires that sa_id records be made available in police department inspections. A printed copy of the full text of Ordinance g00-15 is available for inspection by any person at the City Municipal Center.
