I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />SECTION 130.1211 DENIAL, SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION OF <br /> LICENSE <br /> <br /> Any license under this Chapter may be denied, suspended, or revoked for any of thc following <br /> reasons: <br /> (a) The use conflicts with the Ramsey Zoning Code; <br /> (b) The use conflicts with any health, building, building maintenance or provisions of <br />ovf-- -~a~L~:t~f~ordinanee or state law; <br /> <br />(c) <br />(d) <br />(e) <br /> <br />(f) <br /> <br />The applicant has failed to comply with one or more provisions of this Chapter;, <br />Fraud, misrepresentation, or bribery in securing a license; <br />Fraud, misrepresentation or false statements marie in the course of the applicant's <br />business; <br />Violation, within the preceding five years, of any law relating to theft, damage or <br />trespass to property, sale of a controlled substance, or operation of business. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />PENALTY. <br /> <br />Any person violating any provision of this ordinance is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon <br />conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than Seven Hundred Dollars ($700.00) or <br />imprisonment for not more than Ninety (90) days or both. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />This ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and thirty (30) days after its publication <br />according to law, subject to City Charter Provision, Section 5.04. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. ORDINANCE PUBLICATION SUMMARY. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #90-15 has been approved by the City Council of the <br />City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of safid Ordinance, to w/t: tt <br />is the intent and effect of Ordinance ~90-15 to require licenses for pawnbrokers and secondhand <br />goods dealers, both of which are defined in the ordinance. The Ordinance further provides for a <br />nonrefundable investigation fee and annual license fee.
