5) <br /> <br />A wall industrial or business park sign shall not project higher than the parapet line <br />of the wall to which it is to be affixed. <br /> <br />b) Park Member Identification Signs. <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />There shall not be more than one wall sign for each principal building or tenant or <br />use within a building, except where the building abuts two or more streets, <br />additional such signs, one (1) oriented to each abutting street, shall be permitted. <br /> <br />2) There shall not be more than one ground sign for each principal building. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />The gross surface area of a wall sign shall not exceed fifteen (15%) of the tenant's <br />or use's proportionate share of the building wall to which the sign is to be affixed. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />The gross surface area of a ground sign shall not exceed fifty (50) square feet for <br />each exposed face nor exceed an aggregate gross surface area of one hundred (100) <br />square feet. <br />A ground sign shall not project higher than ten (1) feet, as measured from based of <br />sign or grade of the nearest adjacent roadway, whichever is higher. <br /> <br />6) <br /> <br />A wall sign shall not project higher than the parapet lie of the wall to which it is to <br />be affixed. <br /> <br />9.12.11 PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENTS <br /> <br />Subd. 1 <br /> <br />The developer shall be required to submit a sign plan for approval, drawn to scale <br />with elevations, at the time application is made for a Planned Unit Development. <br />The sign plan shall include but not be limited to the following information: number <br />of signs, type of signs, sign sizes, type of construction mater/als, and sign <br />messages. <br /> <br />9.12.12 CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />Subd. 1 <br /> <br />All signs permitted by this ordinance in excess of sixteen (16) square feet shall be <br />constructed, installed and/or altered in accordance with the provisions of this <br />section and by professional sign companies or contractors licensed to do conduct <br />business in the State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />Subd. 2 <br /> <br />In addition to complying with the provisions of this ordinance, all signs shall be <br />constructed in accordance with the applicable provisions of the 1991 Edition of the <br />Uniform Sign Code and State Electrical Code. <br /> <br />Subd. 3 <br /> <br />All signs shall be located in such a way that they maintain horizontal and vertical <br />clearance of all electrical power lines and communication lines. <br /> <br />Subd. 4 <br /> <br />All signs and their supporting structures shall maintain clearance and non- <br />interference with all surface and underground facilities and conduits for water, <br />sewage, gas, electricity, or communications equipment or lines.
