Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: I RESOLUTION #93-09~__ ~ I RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #93-06 (SEALCOATING AND CRACKFILLING IMPROVEMENT TO PINEVIEW ESTATES 1ST AND 2ND ADDITIONS) I WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the City Council on September 14, 1993, the City Administrator was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the improvement sealcoating and crackfilling of Pineview Estates 1st and 2nd Additions (Project g93-06); and I WHEREAS, the City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That a public heating shall be held on October 12, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Municipal I Center, to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. I 2) That the City Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than I two weeks prior to the hearings. 3) That the owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment by the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment of such property, with interest accrued to I the date of to the City, that no interest shall be if the entire is payment except charged assessment paid within 30 da. ys from the adoption of the assessment. The owner may at any time, thereafter, pay to the City ne entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must be made before I November 15 or interest will be charged through De~mber 31 of the succeeding year. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Counciimember_ __ _ I and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: I and the following were absent: i and the following abstained: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day I of September, 1993.
