Councilmember <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #93-10- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION <br />CERTAIN REAL ESTATE FOR UTILITIES <br />MCKINLEY STREET <br /> <br />OF FEE SIMPLE INTEREST OF <br />AND FUTURE EXTENSION OF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in 1988, landowners of property with the property parcel identification <br />numbers of 35-32-25-22-0011 and 35-32-25-21-0001 allowed the City of Ramsey to construct a <br />sanitary sewer line; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, since this po~t in time, the owners of the property and the City have jointly <br />negotiated in good faith toward compensation to the landowners for acquisition of the easement; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 24, 1993, the City authorized Herman Appraisal Services to <br />ascertain a value of the property utilized for easement purposes as well as an 80 foot road fight-of- <br />way described for each parcel as: <br /> <br />· -.--- An 80 foot wide strip of land the centerline of which strip of land is as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of the west line of the east 10 rods of the Northwest <br />Quarter of Section 35, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, and a <br />line 390.00 feet northeasterly of as measured at a fight angle to and parallel with the <br />northerly fight-of-way of the Burlington Northern Railroad; thence northwesterly <br />parallel with said northerly fight-of-way to the east line of Outlot A, RAMSEY 67 <br />INDUSTRIAL PARK FIRST ADDITION, Anoka County, Minnesota and said <br />centerline there terminating. The northerly and southerly lines of said easement are <br />to be prolonged or shortened to terminate on the west-line of the east 10 rods of said <br />Northwest Quarter and the east line of said Outlot A. <br /> <br />The centerline of said 80.00 foot wide strip of land is described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of the east line of said Outlot A with a line 390.00 feet <br />northeasterly, as measured at a fight angle to and parallel with the northerly right of <br />way of the Burlington Northern Raikoad; thence on an assumed bearing of North <br />65 degrees 46 minutes 50 seconds West, parallel to said northerly fight of way, a <br />distance of 597.91 feet, thence northwesterly along a tangential curve, concave to <br />the northeast, having a radius of i219.73 feet, a central angle of 18 degrees 37 <br />minutes 26 seconds, a distance of 396.47 feet; thence North 47 degrees 09 minutes <br />24 seconds West, tangent to last said curve, a distance of 100.00 feet; thence <br />westerly along a tangential curve, concave to the southwest, having a radius of <br />510.35 feet, a central angle of 42 degrees 47 minutes 56 seconds a distance of <br />381.22 feet; thence North 89 degrees 57 minutes 20 seconds West, tangent to last <br />said curve, a distance of 350.00 feet to the east right of way of Sunfish Lake <br />Boulevard, and said centerline there terminating. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the appraisal has provided values for the property as $14,850 for <br />parcel 35-32-25-22-0011 owned by Anoka 67 Park Partnership and $7,300 for parcel 35-32-25- <br />21-0001. <br /> <br /> <br />
