%entember 7, Ig93 Ms. Sylvia Frolik City of Ramsey 15153 NW Nowthen Blvd. Ramsey, Mn. 55303 Attention: Plannine and Zoninq Commission Dear Ms. Frotik: I am writing to address the issue of a horse shelter and accessory structure located adiacent to my nropertv at 15811Qkani Street. My understanding is that the Olson's are apolyine for a conditional use permit. My position on this matter is as follows. Ideally, I would have Preferred that they secure the permit and follow the code exactly as it is written prior to buildinq both of these structures. This does not appear to have been the case. They have, however, .lust recently invested a great deal of time and money into building these structures and since they are located directly next to my nrooertv, I would request that the committee consider the followin~ be done to minimize their intrusions. One, the manure was left ~or an entire year without removal. Although they have made some effort to chanee the fence line, I would request that a removal~svstem be established and followed. Two, the accessory structure has been un{inished ~or some time, but they have, this past two weeks, been workinq to complete it. I am assuming that siding and painting will be comnlete soon. Lastly? I sugQested to them that they plant some ouick-qrowina trees alonq the property line, particularly since it does not meet the 75' quide- line (the horse shelter). I have lust olanted 9 10' poplars alonq my border.
