I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g93-10- RESOLUTION APPROVING CLIMB PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL SALOON AND FOOD IN RAMSEY THEATRE, GAMBLING INC. APPLICATION FOR A (PADDLEWHEEL) AT J.R.'S WHEREAS, CLIMB Theatre, Inc. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at J.R.'s Saloon and Food, 6141 Highway #10 N.W., Ramsey; and WHEREAS, CLIMB Theatre, Inc. is a theatre company from St. Paul, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, CLIMB Theatre, Inc. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice provision; and WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for CLIMB Theatre, Inc. to operate paddlewheels at J.R.'s Saloon and Food, 6141 Highway #10 N.W., Ramsey. 2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. 3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent:
