I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilme~nber Hardin introduced, the, following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #93-03-041 I~ESOLUTION APPROVING CLASSIFICATION AND REQUESTING TItAT ANOKA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS PLACE FOR PUBLIC SALE THE FOLLOWING TAX FORFEITED PROPERTY: I'.I.N. 03-32-2S-24-0011 AND CONVEY TIIE FOLLOWING PROPERTIES TO TIlE CITY OF RAMSEY FOR PUBLIC USE: P.I.N. 22-32-25-31-0025, P.I.N. 06-32-25-23-0006 WIIEREAS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners approvb_.d a resolution providing authority under Chapter 282 of Minnesota Statutes for public sale of land situated in Anoka County which is forfeited to the State of Minnesota for nonpayment of taxes; and WHEREAS, the classification and sale of tax forfeit land lying within tile bounds of any organized town with a taxable value in excess of $20,000 of an incorporated municipality must be approved by the Council of each City insofar as lands located therein are concerned; and WItEREAS, the town board or governing body will be deemed to have approved classification sale if the County ~oard is not notified of the disapproval of the classification sale within ninety (90) days of the date requested for approval as transmitted to the town board or governing body; and WHEREAS, if the town board or governing body desires to acquire any parcel lying in the town or municipality by procedures authorized in Section 282.01, it shall within ninety (90) days of tile requested classification and sale, file a written" application to the County Board to withhold the parcel from public sale for one year. NOW TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY. COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey has granted preliminary plat approval of Ramsey Commons 2nd Addition and recommendation for public sale of the following properties will be deferrsd. P.I.N. 26-32-25-11-0016, P.I.N. 26-32-25-11-0017, P.I:N. 26-32-25-11-0018. 2) That Anoka County attempt to'sell the property known as P.I.N. 03-32-25-24-0011 to the owner of P.I.N. 03-32-25-24-0010 as it is an unbuiidable lot. 3) That Anoka County withhold from public sale the properties known as P.I.N. 22-32-25-31- 0025 for unspecified public use and P.I.N. 06-32-25-23-0006 for use as open space and drainage. 4) That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to Anoka County. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Peterson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Zimmerman
