The AA+ rating allows the <br />city to obtain a lower interest rates on the current bond issues and on future debt issuance for <br />improvement/capital equipment needs. Attached to the Weekly Update is the S&P full report. <br />Pre -Construction Meeting for Brookfield 6th Addition. The Developer of Brookfield 6th <br />Addition (Brookfield Land, LLC/Capstone Homes) held a Pre -Construction Meeting on May 28. <br />Construction is anticipated to commence in the next one (1) to two (2) weeks with public <br />infrastructure substantial completion in ten (10) to twelve (12) weeks. The Developer still needs <br />to execute the Development Agreement and place required financial sureties. <br />Pre -Construction Meeting for Country Club Hills. The Developer of Country Club Hills (US <br />Home Corporation dba Lennar) held a Pre -Construction Meeting on May 28. Tree clearing is <br />anticipated to begin as soon as staking and tree save fence installation can be completed <br />Construction is anticipated to commence in the next one (1) to two (2) weeks with public <br />infrastructure substantial completion in fourteen (14) to sixteen (16) weeks. The Developer still <br />needs to execute the Development Agreement and place required financial sureties. <br />Alpine Drive Railroad Crossing Quiet Zone to be Established June 9th <br />The Alpine Drive railroad crossing is scheduled to officially become a quiet zone on Tuesday, <br />June 9th. This means trains will no longer routinely sound their horns every time they cross Alpine <br />Drive. Instead, trains will only sound their horns in emergency situations such as when pedestrians <br />or other hazards are close to or on the tracks. Before June 9th the City will install signs on both <br />sides of the crossing to warn drivers that trains will no longer routinely sound their horns. <br />CommonBond Communities Submits Application for Building Permit for Sunwood Village. <br />The City received an Application for Building Permit for Sunwood Village. Staff will begin <br />reviewing the Building Permit parallel to preparation for the real estate transaction to be scheduled <br />for a future date. <br />PSD Land Transaction Closed. On Thursday, May 28, the Purchase Agreement between the <br />City of Ramsey and PSD LLC dated January 14, 2015 was officially closed. PSD LLC is now the <br />official owner of Outlots A and B of Ramsey Town Center 11 Addition. PSD LLC anticipates <br />developing their new, roughly 15 -acre, property in phases. Phase one, a 121 -unit market -rate <br />apartment complex abutting The Draw, is set to begin construction this summer and is targeted for <br />completion by fall 2016. Bark For Life adds a new twist to American Cancer <br />Society's Relay For Life serving as a fundraising activity to honor the caregiving qualities of canine <br />companions while supporting the American Cancer Society mission. Bring your canine friend(s) <br />to The Draw located within The COR at Ramsey on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:00 am for a fun - <br />filled morning starting with a one mile (non-competitive) walk and continuing with games, <br />demonstrations and vendors.
