O~OIN~NCw. <br /> <br /> CITY Or R~MSE¥ <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF KIKNESOTA <br /> <br />A/~E~~ TO C~PTER 6 OF THE CITY CODE WEICH CHAPTER IS KNOWN AS <br />THE TPJ%FFIC, VESICLES AND PARKING CT/APTER OF THE CITY CODE. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE A~ENDING C1tAPTEE <br />HINNESOTA. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br /> <br />6 OF T~E CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br /> <br />SECTION <br /> <br />Section 6.04.0~, Subdivision 1. paragraph e. is hereby amended <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />6.04.04 Limitation of operations. Subdivision <br /> <br />On city streets only when such operation is <br />necessary to gain access to designated snowmobile <br />trails, private property or areas which, by <br />Minnesota Statutes, may be used by snowmobiles, <br />except that no snowmobiles maybe operated other than <br />on the roadway in ~he Municipal Urban Service Area <br />(MUSA) which area is designated on the official city <br />Zoning Map. A map clearly showing the boundaries <br />of ~he ~73SA shall be on display at ~.he City Hall. <br />Snowmobiles operated on ~he..roadway in ~jue )~SA <br />shall be operated on the fur~hast-most right hand <br />portion of the roadway und shall be opera=ed in <br />single file. <br /> <br />Section 6.04.05, Subd. I and Subd. 2 are ~mended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />6.04.05 Persons Under 18. <br /> <br /> Subdivision I. No person under the age of !4 may operate <br />snowmobile on ~ny City street in the City. <br /> <br /> ~ubd. Z A Person 14 years of age or older but less than 18 <br />years may operate a snowmobile on a City street only if that person <br />has in his or her immediate possession a valid ~nowmobile ~afety <br />cer~ifi=a=e issued by the Commissioner. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. ~FECTI~r~.~ <br /> <br />The effective date of ~his Ordinance is thi~=y (30) d~ys after its <br />passage ~nd publication, subject to City Charter Section 5.07. <br /> <br /> <br />
