I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for it adoption: RESOLUTION g93-12- RESOLUTION ADOPTING 1994 PARK DEDICATION CASH CONTRIBUTION FEES WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council recognizes that is is essential to the health, safetY and welfare of the residents to protect, conserve and enhance Rarnsey's natural and recreational resources; and WHEREAS, cash may be required in lieu of land and said cash contribution should be commensurate with land values and remain competitive; and WHEREAS, Section 9.50.37, Subd. 6 of the Ramsey City Code states that park dedication fees shall be set by City Council resolution. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the cash contribution per dwelling unit, effective January 1, 1994, shall be in accordance with the following schedule: Less than 1 unit per 3.3 acres All other dwelling units $450.00/dwelling unit $650.00/dwelling unit 2) That the cash contribution per acre for commercial properties, effective January 1, 1994, shall be in accordance with the following: Commercial Properties with city sewer & water Commercial Properties without city sewer & water (based on FMV of $50,000 per acre) 5% of FMV or minimum $1,500/acre 5% of FMV or minimum $1,000/acre 3) That the cash contribution per acre for industrial properties, effective January 1, 1994, shall be in accordance with the following: Industrial Properties with city sewer & water Industrial Properties without city sewer & water (based on FMV of $15,000 per acre) 5% of FMV or minimum $1,050/acre 5% of FMV or minimum $ 750/acre The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: /67
