Description of Request <br /> <br />General <br /> <br />International Process Systems, Inc. (IPS) requests that the <br />City of Ramsey issue a Conditional Use Permit for the <br />construction and operation of an enclosed organics composting <br />facility to be located south of the Anoka Regional Landfill on <br />property owned by Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. (W~4I). <br />IFS will be the owner of the of all facilities to be <br />constructed while ~II will remain the property owner. <br /> <br />The composting facility consists of a pre-engineered enclosed <br />structure for receiving, processing and mixing organic wastes; <br />and for composting the organic material for a period of 17 to <br />21 days. Inside the building will be a tipping/storage area, <br />a mixing and processing area, 10 composting bays, air and <br />temperature control systems, office, and electrical control <br />room.
