Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #15-01-002 RESOLUTION APPROVING SITE PLAN FOR FIRE STATION NO. 2 TO BE LOCATED AT 5650 ALPINE DR NW WHEREAS, on August 11, 2014, the City Council authorized a contract with BKV Group to provide final design services for a new Fire Station No. 2; and WHEREAS , on November 17, 2014, the City received plans from BKV Group for Site Plan Review for Fire Station No. 2; and WHEREAS , on December 4, 2014, the Planning Commission reviewed the Site Plan, and recommended that the City Council approve said Site Plan; and WHEREAS , on January 13, 2014, the City Council considered approval of the Site Plan for Fire Station No. 2; and WHEREAS , Site Plan Review is one (1) of multiple steps in considering authorization to build a new Fire Station No. 2, and does not provide official authorization to begin construction; and WHEREAS , the City Council will need to advertise for bids and award a contract at a future date if it decides to authorize construction of a new Fire Station No. 2. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey does approve the Site Plan for Fire Station No. 2, acknowledging the requirement for Advertisement for Bid and Award of a Contract at a future meeting. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: And voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council the th 13 day of January, 2015.
