Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #15-04-095 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS AND COST ESTIMATE AND <br />AWARDING A CONTRACT TO CONNEXUS ENERGY FOR RIVERDALE DRIVE <br />LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS; IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 15-22 <br />WHEREAS, on March 26, 2015, Connexus Energy submitted preliminary plans and cost <br />estimate in the amount of $170,347.70 for street and pedestrian facility lighting improvements <br />for Riverdale Drive between Armstrong Boulevard and Traproick Street; and <br />WHEREAS, Connexus Eneregy is the sole vendor available to the City of Ramsey for <br />constructing and maintaining lighting improvements for this segment of Riverdale Drive and <br />their preliminary plans and cost estimate shall be and hereby is accepted. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Connexus Energy for the construction and maintenance of said <br />improvements for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br />2) The City agrees to pay Connexus Energy for all costs associated with the installation and <br />ongoing maintenance of said lighting improvements at such time that a contract has been <br />executed. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />RESOLUTION #15-04-095 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
