Councilmember Shryock suggested, maybe to what Councilmember Riley is saying, the City <br />needs to come up with the ideas or plans but it is important to discuss it with residents at some <br />point before it is finalized to ask if it is feasible and how it can be worked out. <br /> <br />Mayor Strommen stated this is bringing forward the details of how it will be done and suggested <br />it be left as Use property owner/citizen <br /> <br />The Council considered the Strategic Initiatives to ensure long-term sustainability of public <br />water system, and develop a communications plan, tactics, and key outcome indicator/metrics. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated they will look at a model provided by Councilmember Williams <br />that bases staff recognition on those reflecting the organizations values and goals. <br /> <br />Councilmember Riley asked for more discussion on Tactic 32) Initiate a strategy to highlight <br />City employees and job duties (put a face to a name and highlight their contribution to the <br />community), as he does not remember it being discussed previously or being identified as a <br />problem. <br /> <br />The Council considered the Strategic Initiatives to continue to implement process improvement <br />initiatives, tactics, and key outcome indicator/metrics. <br /> <br />Councilmember Shryock asked that staff reword Tactic 33) using broader language to just <br />Review existing events and value to the City so it is open to changes or modification. <br /> <br />growth, tactics, and key outcome indicator/metrics. <br /> <br />Councilmember Riley asked staff to add language to identify efficiencies and how it will benefit <br />the City. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated both work efficiency and equipment maintenance can be <br />incorporated. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Council was to continue discussion at a future Work Session. <br /> <br />3.
